The Green Brigade Marching Band is the name of the marching band at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. The University of North Texas is home to the largest school of music in the nation by enrollment and the marching band is one of the 40 ensembles on campus that students can participate in.[1] The band is open to both music and non-music majors in order to showcase school spirit and hone skills in music education. The band practices three times a week for two hours each rehearsal.[2] The band enjoys a high standard of excellence and has been featured as the exhibition band for numerous marching festivals, including the Texas State Marching Contest in the fall of 2008.

A prominent tradition of the Green Brigade is to play "You'll Never Walk Alone", a show tune from the musical Carousel at the end of every game.[3]
